Cilantro y Perejil — Restaurant in Tequisquiapan

Considering all the positive reviews for this restaurant, I was severely disappointed. Other than having a nice location for maybe a halfway decent drink, I would not recommend the food here. I ordered the arrachera, which is a thin steak-like cut of beef. I'm not a super picky eater and will eat even mediocre food and clean my plate if I'm hungry. In fact I'm what some people refer to as a "healthy eater." I went there hungry. The service was mediocre at best. My arrachera portion was quite small for the price and was the toughest, nastiest cut of meat I've ever been served. It was obvious the cook new the meat was tough because it had so much tenderizer on it that every bite made my mouth pucker. As hungry as I was, I was simply unable to finish this small portion of meat. My tongue was irritated for hours after having eating the meat. The miniscule side serving of beans (about a tablespoon full) and 3 sad little chips were edible but nothing to write home about. The tamarindo agua was average. After commenting to a friend of mine who lives in the town regarding this bad experience - she confirmed that she and another local have had similar experiences and they, therefore, do not recommend this restaurant to visiting guests. Seriously, you are better off eating at the local market for about 1/4th of the price. To the owners of the restaurant: location isn't everything, quality matters, and you should treat every customer who comes into your restaurant with respect and attention even if they don't look like the rich, snobby chilangos who frequent the downtown area. Hola quiero contarles mis últimas dos experiencias , por creo deben mejorar mucho la atención y servicio , la comida me encanta de eso no tengo nada que decir al respecto .

Hace como un mes y medio fuimos un sábado por la tarde mi novio y su familia , todos pedimos platillo y algunas entradas individuales o para compartir , todo llegó a destiempo cuando le pedimos de favor a la mesera que entradas primero y después platos fuertes , llegó primero algunos platos fuertes , luego entradas , al primero que le llegó su comida cuando comimos juntos ya estaba súper fría su comida , una de las entradas llegaron cuando ya estábamos terminado de comer , súper lento y mal el servicio , le pedíamos algo y tardaba horas, y no solo eso , se le olvida a la mesera llevarlo , la familia de mi novio nunca había ido y queríamos compartirles uno de nuestros restaurantes que más nos gustan y que acudimos frecuentemente , pero en vez de quedar bien quedamos súper mal .

Pero eso no fue todo el día de ayer volvimos , porque nos encanta la comida y pensamos que que solo fue un mal día para el equipo del restaurante , pero esta vez fue peor , ya que pedimos de tomar mientras regresaba a tomarlos la orden y regresó media hora después , sin trato , sin atención , sin amabilidad , después de comer los platos fuertes , queríamos pedir alguna otra bebida , pero la mesera pasó a lado de la mesa de a lado 3 veces y no fue para levantar la cara o ser atenta y ver que se nos ofrecía , al igual se nos antojaba un postre y levanté varias veces la mano ya que no tenía la atención de atender sus mesas y jamás volteó a verme incluso pienso que me ignoraba ya que fueron 5 veces en total que traté de hablarle . Cuando por fin regreso ya solo pedimos la cuenta , ya no tuvimos ganas de pedir algo extra de tomar o algún postre ya que por el mal trato lo único que queríamos era irnos así que ya solo le pedimos la cuenta .

MEJOREN SU SERVICIO Y ATENCIÓN NO ES LA PRIMERA VEZ QUE SU SERVICIO ES PÉSIMO.

Cabe mencionar que he visitado este lugar desde hace más de 3 años al rededor de unas 30 veces y su atención va en decadencia .

Antes todos sus meseros eran súper atentos y serviciales .

We almost passed this gem of a restaurant by. Gladly though we glimpsed the small entry way, scanned the menu, and our fancies were tickled by what we saw. We sat on the terrace, and let me tell you, the view alone was worth it. It looked like God had painted an image for us putting together the picturesque town, gorgeous weather, and look plus ambience of Cilantro and Perejil. Then the food came. Flavors abound, presentation on key, and the staff was right on point with a dash of excellence that made this experience one to remember. Stop in and enjoy the delights this place...
