Restaurante Bar Las Brasas — Restaurant in Tequisquiapan

Hoy 16 octubre 2022, fuimos a Tequis en paseo de familia. En el turibus nos recomendaron ir a comer a este restaurante. Estábamos ansiosos de comer Carne, así que fuimos sin dudarlo. Los precios por plato rondan los $180-280 y algunos cortes rondan los $350, Nada económico, por lo que uno esperaría que la comida y los cortes de carne sean de buena calidad... Comenzamos con unas empanadas chilenas de entrada. Cuando llegaron las de carne estaban de buen sabor sin embargo las de maíz y queso estaban fritas y calientes por fuera pero por dentro estaban congeladas, la 1ra decepción (hablamos con el camarero) y pedimos q nos las cambiarán, un error puede haber en cualquier lugar. Seguimos a la espera de los platos fuerte, de primero llegaron los chorizos argentinos y las chistorras. Comenzamos a comer, y para sorpresa los chorizos tenían un toque ácido nos pareció raro pero nos dijeron es que tienen toque a limón. No quedamos muy convencidos pero seguimos en la espera de la carne, cuando de repente mientras estoy comiendo un taquito muerdo algo duro y pensé una piedra y me saco la "piedra" y cuando veo en realidad era un diente, me asusté terriblemente pero luego de revisar toda mi boca me di cuenta que no era mío, por lo que de miedo pase a un asco profundo que jamás había experimentado. Así como lo oyen, un diente en la comida. El ASCO es inimaginable, hablamos con el mesonero y procedimos a retirarnos la comida quedó intacta. De verdad ha Sido la experiencia gastronómica más horrible y asquerosa que he tenido. Este lugar no lo recomiendo para nada... Además que la respuesta de la gerencia fue así como y que quiere UD. Que yo haga . . Terribleeeeee El Pero...

The beef was good but the chicken was terrible! My wife first ordered chicken parmesana and it looked like it was freezer burned. She replaced it with chicken cordon Bleu and it was better but still not what you would expect. They have no beer on tap even though it is on the menu, and the wine list consists of 3 offerings (by the glass only - no bottles available). The salad bar was ok, but you aren't allowed to serve yourself.

The rooftop terrace is nice with views of the mountains and the waiters...

The service was great honestly but the food wasn't good for our taste. The appetizers were good.

I order The steak because I heard good things about the Argentinians are known for their steaks but i was disappointed. The Steak was without flavor, the Golden Corral steak is thousand times better.
