I was riding my bike down the street headed to the public beach and saw Casa Maria's sign for happy hour 2 for 1 margaritas... Needless to say, I parked my bike right then and there!! We were greeted kindly at Diamonte K and sat at one of the beach side lounge areas right next to the water. The view was breathtaking. Everything felt just right, the restaurant is situated perfectly near a cove, with lots of greenery all around, and cool views of pelicans fishing in the waves. The service was really top notch, all the waiters were so friendly and prompt, they keep a really good eye on the place. Our margaritas were the best I've EVER had!!! The menu has lots to choose from, but of course I landed on the fish taco which really hit the spot. Don't miss this spot during your stay in Tulum!!! The restaurant under the palapa is gorgeous, I loved the decor. It is beachy and authentic and very cozy. The lounge areas are so close to the ocean and I couldn't ask for anything more! 10/10 love love love

In a town overflowing with party goers from the USA and other countries, Casa Maria Mexican Grill was a welcome refuge to me when I sought a relaxing evening on the beach. With the ocean waves lapping the shore four meters from my feet, a gentle breeze at 26C, myself lounging in a comfortable Adirondack with a local cerveza and risotto, I couldn't ask for more. And then the sun set and I had a surprisingly excellent star gazing session, with Red Monk playing live behind me. Jesus Mariel read the sand well: he was friendly while giving me space to relax and dine. It was fun to trade words and phrases from each of our native languages and learn about life in Tulum. Thank you very much, Jesus! When I left Casa Maria, I felt recharged and at peace.

Really wanted to love this place Beautiful location , we booked a table for 2 on the beach for valentines day. The lady sitting us at the table was cold and borderline rude. Not even a smile. Our waiter wasn’t any better , no greetings whatsoever and would leave as soon as he finishes his sentence. We had the seafood empanadas as a starter and it was underwhelming as the batter taste overpowered the seafood in it. As for the main course we got the grilled octopus which was good. I got the premium burger with no bacon. They brought it with bacon so I gently asked them to re do it without the bacon. 5 minutes later they bring me the same burger with no fillings but the meat itself. They then gave me caramelized onions on the side. By that time the burger was cold and the bun was mushy because of the “house dressing” (it’s tomato sauce 🥴). Honestly even if they had my order right the burger would still be a 2/10 Was expecting more from a fancy spot in the hotel zone

This spot was next to our hotel, so we tried it on our last night in Tulum. We got a table on the beach, which was the best part of the experience. It was really lovely to have dinner overlooking the water with string lights and palm trees in the background, toes in the sand. We had pizza, lobster and steak. The pizza surprisingly was the best part. The steak was just alright, nothing special, and the lobster was overcooked. I also had two margaritas which were pretty tasty. For $250 it was a rather expensive meal for what we received. Service was alright, but you pay for the vibe here. The food at both Mezzanine and Mi Amor on either side of this spot was more better for similar or less price (both also overlooking the ocean).

Come here!! The food was mind-blowing and the service was great. You can take a seat with the beach right in your sight and indulge in some great happy hour drinks, which btw are strong and delicious, and bombass food. Shrimp ceviche? 10/10 Ribeye tacos? Bangers Nachos with chicken? Lit The view? 👌 The drinks? Strong but bomb Chips with all their salsas? 🤤 Spend some time at the beach and come get a snack or your meal here. (I didn't get paid for this but I'll take their tacos as payment if they wanna sponsor me) The beach here is so clean and have little to no seaweed 🏖️ Edit: we came back the next day and Hebert was our server. Hebert you rock! I hope you readers get served by him too.

Best Food in Tulum!!!!! Looking for a restaurant with a beach view, amazing music and absolutely the best food? Look no further. Casa Maria has everything and on top of that the they have the best service. Jhony, Miguel, Leo, Carlos and absolutely everyone else at Casa Maria are some of the nicest, most humble people that I have ever met. I tried almost everything on the menu and I can honestly say it is some of the best food that I have ever had. The shrimp pizza, shrimp tacos, the shrimp risotto, acai bowl, mushroom risotto are some of my favorites from their menu. If you are looking for a drink, try their mojito, their piña colada or their margarita.
