Gorgeous long stretch of beach with fine white sand and clear blue water. We arrived at 9am- had to pay $121mx to enter the federal beach zone and get subjected to a car search. The playa las palmas beach club charged $200mx to park for the whole day or $800mx (two people) for lounge chairs/umbrella/parking for the whole day. We figured it was about $27/person for the whole day to lounge at this beautiful beach. Saw a lot of people with towels just hanging out but since there is no shade at all and the sun is very strong we opted for the umbrella experience. Most people started to arrive after 11am with the “set-up” of beach chairs and lounges starting at 10:30am.

Perfect waves for playing in, great lifeguards, and food options nearby. We're going back soon and I'm really nervous it has become super privatized...

We had a car so we were blocked. No beach time at all for us because the beach side is all private and you can't even see the water from the car because they build really tall walls at the gates and force you to pay even just to see the water. Parking starts from 500pesos ( in Amalfi coast parking the car the whole day costs 5euros). Those guys in Mexico are going crazy with prices. This is going to be the...
