Panadería La Especial — Restaurant in Veracruz

September 2025: This is a small bakery shop located in the corner of Av. Primero de Mayo and Virgilio Uribe street. It is a small shop so there is not the same variety as you would find elsewhere. When I visited the baker was making some bread in the open, any one could see it, the oven is in the back. Because the baker was working I assume everything is very fresh. I had a "Bomba" filled with black refried beans and cheese and it was delicious (perfect breakfast if you are from Veracruz port), all I was missing was the "Lechero" coffee. Remember this is a small panadería, only two people worked here when I stopped, the baker and the cashier, I paid cash, I am not sure that they can take credit cards.
