La Terracita Snack Bar — Restaurant in Yucatán

I ordered their veggie burger and explained that I am vegan, so no cheese, cream, meat, etc. I asked to substitute the cheese for guacamole and the server said no problem.

My burger came out and within the first bite, I realized I just had my first piece of meat in 5+ years.

I told the server what happened, so he took the burger back to the kitchen and literally just took the burger off the bun and brought the bun back to me LMAO

I again explained no, I wanted the veggie burger without cheese (or cream), but with guacamole instead.

A veggie burger came out…but it was covered in cream (already explained to him to cheese, no meat, no cream, no mayonnaise, etc.), and for what it’s worth, it didn’t have the guacamole I requested.

Again, I explained to the server that I could not eat this, so he should bring the check so I could go somewhere else. They charged me full price for it anyway!

When I saw the bill, I said something to both the server and the cashier, but they didn’t care. They continued to charge the full price for a burger I did not order/could not...

It's the worst service ever! We ordered some drinks and nachos, simple dishes! Even after chasing and reminders, we waited 1,5h hour, and never got the food. More important were groups of locals which came after us and got dosens of hamburgers... And what is most surprising, apparently what we ordered appeared on a bill! And that surprise at the waiters' side that we refuse to pay for what we never got! I strongly do not recommend...

Called in with my partner for a drink after a meal, if you want a good cocktail go somewhere else. If you want good service go somewhere else. There were street dogs begging for food around the tables that were aggressive. Upon leaving my partner realised she’d left her bag, when we went back it hadn’t been seen by the staff, but as if by magic was behind the bar? Shame as it has the potential to be...
