A solid restaurant where we have been several times during our stay. Since it was during the pandemic there was only a partial service which was fine. We basically always were the sole customers.
The service was ok. They were fast enough. The food was good. Not michelin star cuisine but fair enough for a normal restaurant in the middle of nowhere. The sizes fed our big boys too. The normal ones could not eat all of it. The "cameron el coco" are really recommendable since they have a rather unique toping and they use the big boys instead of the small ones. The guacamole was fine too since it was freshly made - we could see it - and not convenience premade.
I have no hard things to complain about. Maybe not perfectly cleaned up (though not messy nor dirty). Maybe a minor selection of salsas to dip your food in. The ambience of that single large room is dominated by long rows of cheap plastic furniture but the nice paintings on the walls gave it a nice touch. Our waiter was really young. While we were eating (we were the only guest then) he and the others sat at the other end of the room watching action movies (I guess) at full volume. That was a bit weird. All in all a genuine...
