Restaurant La Conchita — Restaurant in Yucatán

Visiting El Cuyo from the U.S., the food here is not what we expected! We think this place may offer very authentic Mexican food when we are used to “Tex-Mex.” It was still very good, prices fair. We absolutely loved the margaritas and the outdoor atmosphere. This place was always open as advertised, which we really appreciated as many restaurants in El Cuyo just aren’t open consistently. The service also top notch and the waiters were very friendly and patient while we read the menu in Spanish. Highly recommend even for foreigners. Just be sure to bring an offline version of Google Translate with you as they offer the menu...

Good food. Prices are quite high but you can always choose cheaper stuffs. We had a very good ceviche from fish (medium size is enough as 1 main dish) for 170pesos. And a good fish filet prepared with cheese and ham for 135pesos.

Atmosphere is ok outside, nothing special.

One stupid fact: closes at 6... So no dinner there- as no where in the entire city aside one taco place on the main avenue which we do not...

Terrible service. The food is good but the service will give you headaches. After 40 minutes they gave us our drinks, they forgot to give us cutlery and plates, they also forgot half the order, there were two people giving us service, and they couldn't handle this.
