Las Brujitas — Restaurant in Yucatán

We waited, waited and Waited to place an order. Not so busy , just lots of talking and laughing in the back. I finally threw my menú down in front of the waitress demanding service. Well, exactly 25 minutes later after we arrived she finally took our order! I ordered chicken picatta with cold tea, never ever got the tea until I complained exactly half an hour after picatta came without parmesano cheese, capers, Nothing but breaded chicken and hardened spaghetti with tomatoe sauce. Horrible!! I would say that between ordering and actual delivery of the meal it took another 40 minutes, perhaps longer. I have lived in Chuburna for 6 years and I have never had to complain like this, actually I never complained about any service or restaurante. The chilliquiles was the best I have ever had. I got the divorciado version and both sauces were perfect. I have had this dish in the US and other places in Mexico, and by far this was the best. My husband ordered a baguette arrachera sandwich and he said it was the best sandwich ever. Huge portion, steak was cooked to perfection. Fresh squeezed OJ was delicious, had their homemade bread with butter and guava marmalade-OMG tasted like bread my grandma used to make. Only wish we would have found this place sooner. I ordered take out here, and unlike another local restaurant you can read in my previous review, they got right to me. The food and portions were very good. I got the shrimp omelet. it was not overcooked, and had a good amount of shrimp in it. The potatoes were also very good and seasoned well.
