I recently had the pleasure of trying the English breakfast at Odelle, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment the plate arrived, I was impressed by the generous portions and the vibrant presentation.
The eggs were cooked to perfection, with a choice of scrambled, fried, or poached. I opted for scrambled, and they were fluffy and creamy, just as they should be. The bacon was crispy without being overdone, offering a nice balance between smoky and salty flavors.
The sausages were hearty and flavorful, clearly made with quality ingredients. They had just the right amount of seasoning and were cooked to a satisfying golden brown. The grilled tomatoes and mushrooms added a nice touch of freshness, balancing the richness of the meat with their earthy flavors.
The baked beans were warm and comforting, with a subtle sweetness that complemented the savory elements of the breakfast. As for the toast, it was perfectly crisp and served with butter and marmalade, rounding out the meal nicely.
One standout aspect of the breakfast was its attention to detail—each component was cooked with care, ensuring that nothing was overlooked. The service was prompt and friendly, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience.
If I had to point out any area for improvement, it would be the coffee, which was a bit on the mild side for my taste. However, it’s a minor quibble in what was otherwise an excellent breakfast.
Overall, Odelle’s English breakfast is a must-try for anyone looking to enjoy a traditional and well-executed version of this classic meal. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to visiting again.

Read moreYesterday morning (late morning: 11 am) me and my boyfriend decided to have a very late breakfast at Odélle. We got there, the restaurant was full and we were told that it might take up to 30 min to get a free table. The gentlemen who told us that also said he can put us on a wait list and give us a call when he gets a free spot: so 5 minutes later we got the call that we can approach because there was a free table for us! We were super excited and happy because outside was very cold and we were very hungry. And so we started with a "Matcha Latte" and a "Golden Turmeric Latte" that came each with a delicious cookie: great choices! And then for the food we chose an "Avocado toast with egg" to share and for our meals a "Jerusalem-style shakshuka with quail eggs and hummus" and "The Great Jerusalem Breakfast": all of them being perfectly cooked (the eggs were pieces of art), very flavorful, very filling and very fresh! Also the design and setting were very comfortable and on point! Thank you so much for a delicious late morning - recommend this gem...
Read moreWent for breakfast today. Ordered Croc Madam and broccoli pancakes. Croc Madam was made super fast. It was not bad. But the pancakes... First we waited 20 minutes and then the waitress told us to wait 3 to 5 minutes more. Then in 20 minutes the waiter came and told us the kitchen made the wrong pancakes and already making new ones. They brought them after 10 minutes. So total waiting time was 50 minutes! I want to point out that the restaurant was only 30% full which is insane for such slow service. I can't believe that you wouldn't know that the kitchen made the wrong pancakes in half an hour. If we were told earlier about this we would decide just to take the croissant and go, because it is Monday morning, people have to go for work and don't have 2 hours for breakfast. As I see I am not the only person complaining about waiting times therefore I leave 1 star. Hope the administration makes improvements, because it is absolutely unprofessional to ask higher than average price, but give...
