Update: 12.08.2023. House policy: They don't serve hot beverages when the music starts. It is 13°C outside at the moment and we can't order a tea or hot chocolate. Bad experience for me this time. 3/5 🌟 🌟 🌟

Kaćun is just beautiful and if you are in Žabljak you have to stop by this place.

Everything looks neat, fresh and clean.

Tables are perfect, chairs are comfy, and the music is very nice, and maybe even a bit too quiet.

Staff is very polite, professional and friendly.

Food is amazing.

We had pizza today. I ordered "Kaćun" pizza, and I can honestly say that it is the best pizza I have ever tasted. 10/10. ✅

Tomorrow we will come back to try some breakfast food.

An interesting thing I spotted was one nail that was bent and halfway in. You can definitely imagine some construction worker that just gave up on it and continued to get the next one. 😂 I hope it's stays there forever.

Digital menu is very handy, so kudos for that.

Only thing that I could say I didn't like was the fork 🍽.

It has a weird shape and it tends to roll over when you hold down your food.

Today morning we went for a coffee for take-away, the kind owner (gentleman) gave it for free as a gesture of previous night's denial. 🥺 We again came back after a 9hrs hike, we not that hungry as we had tonnes of bakery with us, so we ordered salads and drinks. The owner (lady) gave us the local juice made from flowers for free when I went to know what is the local juice made of 💙. She again apologized because she had her birthday and there was a celebration. When I said that we already got coffee in the morning, she said that was from her husband and the juice is from her side. Comparing to last year when we had an excellent experience at this place, we returned and were disapponted. My mother took the meat meal that was served fully cold, though she payed more then 10 euro for a small plate of meat with onions and mashed potato. Out of sheer respect we did not want to return the order, but we will not be coming back. The staff were really kind but it is obvious they need some support. Hopefully, the restaurant will not experience the story of those at the seaside where prices are going up and the quality ofservice is going down because of lack of organisation.
