Great spot if you want to try some local food in Montenegro. The portions are generous, and the food tastes hearty and homemade — like you can see in the photos, they serve classic dishes with grilled sausages, pljeskavica, fresh veggies, and bread that all go really well together.

The café is quite popular, especially during peak hours, so expect to wait around 5–10 minutes for a table. This is totally understandable since both locals and tourists love the place, which is always a good sign. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is generally quick, but sometimes the two waiters can get a bit overwhelmed with all the guests. Still, they do their best to keep things moving smoothly.

If you’re around Durmitor, I definitely recommend stopping by for a tasty and simple meal — the quality and portion sizes won’t...

Young lady waitress is very kind and friendly, and is the only positive thing here. The food is average at best. Kacamak is tasty, but most of it is drowning in melted chease or cream cheese (not authentic kacamak, because it is not made with the right kind of dairy). Cucumber salad was terrible, consisted of previuos different leftovers, waiting in the fridge to be served to somebody. Coffee is bad, not made with sufficient coffee. Avoid all restaurants in the center area, quality is inconsistent or even bad (some are pricey, some are not, but that is not the main issue). Instead just go to the Izvor restaurant, south of Zabljak area, some 10 min drive. So far it is the only restaurant that...

Please visit this place if you are staying in Zabljak!! We had two meals in a day at Ukus, it’s a family run restaurant (they also have apartment upstairs). We are surprised by this place! First we came for breakfast and the price was very reasonable, a big plate full of eggs, homemade cheese and tasty local ham with only 6 euro! I had an vegetable omelette and some bread!! Those bread are so so tasty and the croissant was amazingly delicious! For dinner we had veal and pork rib. Portion was very big, I finished it all after a long day hike in Durmitor. Please come to this place as it won’t let you down, Ukus has the best food and service in Zabljak!! People who work here are...
