L’Atelier — Restaurant in Agadir

The service was completely unacceptable here!

We came here last month, 8 of us just landed in Agadir and were very hungry for food. Nothing was open but this place. We got sat down quickly and the place looked decent.

We were all very exhausted and thirsty. The waiter could not be seen for another 10 minutes after sitting down. Then we saw him serve other people come and give us the 1 min finger and then gone again for 5 minutes.

When he did come we ordered our drinks and food at the same time because clearly it was going to take ages.

Our drinks came out in 5 minutes. One of our orders came out in 10 minutes. The rest of the 7 of us waited and waited. After 20 minutes we asked where the rest of the food is? He told us they’re making it. We waited again and again now 40 minutes have gone by and only one of us got his food.

We have got very angry by this time. We asked again where our food is as we are all very exhausted and hungry from travelling. He said it’s coming now. After waiting 50 minutes some of the food started to come out and it wasn’t nothing like the photos in the menu.

The chicken was under cooked and pink and the food was not great at all. We were all very annoyed and angry at this service. They told us it’s new chefs in the kitchen. That’s why it’s taken long. But 1 hour of waiting is not the chefs fault when we can see other people getting their food. Also our food was not cooked.

Very bad bad service from this place. Awful. Don’t eat here as a tourist. No matter how...

If you are looking for a relatively cheap breakfast place with very good quality food, look no further as this is the spot.

The breakfast option Le Gourmand (for 67MAD, roughly £5.36 £1 = 12.5 MAD) is the best value for money.

With this, you get 1 cold drink (a choice of orange juice or carrot juice) and 1 hot drink (either tea or coffee I think we got coffee with milk).

You get a basket of bread (3 halves of Khobz bread) and 3 pastries (1 normal croissant, 1 croissant with some sort of almond filling and almonds on top) and 1 pain aux raisin.

You also get 4 little tubs of different spreads such as cream cheese, peanut butter, olive oil and honey to have with the bread or the pastries.

And what is also included is a cheesy omelette that is very big with 1 cherry tomato and a bit of lettuce (not much salad 😂)

This breakfast doesn’t look like it will fill you up but believe me it does! Our eyes are often always bigger than our stomachs but this breakfast hits the spot.

Very good service (if the waiters forget anything from your order they will happily get it for you) and don’t forget to ask the waiter for the wifi password if you need it!

Very fairly priced and altogether cost 201 DAM ...

I bought a cake for my little one’s birthday and was told it was a cream cake. I kept it properly refrigerated from the morning until the late afternoon , but by the time we were ready to celebrate, the cake had completely melted and lost its shape — it looked more like a yogurt or mousse cake rather than a proper cream cake.

I contacted the bakery, even sent pictures, and they said they would get back to me in the morning — but they never did. That kind of service is really unprofessional, especially for something meant for a child’s birthday.

To make things worse, the cake wasn’t cheap — it was quite expensive — and definitely not worth the money for the quality and experience I received. The product was not as described, and the lack of response made it even more disappointing.
