During the five days and nights my brother and I stayed in Essaouira, we chose to eat two dinners at Pasta Baladin. The price was right (food items range from 55 to 90 DH), and the restaurant specializes in any pasta and sauce of your choice.
For us, it was a short 3-minute walk from our riad that had wonderful panoramic ocean views from two terraces.
There are daily specials, and both cold and hot drinks are served, and various mineral waters, plus with Italian salads and deserts.
Pasta Baladin has several tables with tall stools outside, but on cool evenings, it is more comfortable to eat inside.
No credit cards are accepted. No alcoholic beverages are sold, only sodas, coffee, waters, and teas.

I’m sorry my dish didn’t include mussels coz they were over so I cant relate to that. The sea food is supposed to be fresh esp the shrimps coz it makes the food even tastier.
