Read moreDuplex Steakhouse offers an unforgettable dining experience. Upon arrival, the doorman greeted me warmly, and despite not having a reservation, the staff kindly provided a large table although I was dining solo. The atmosphere immediately felt welcoming.
A T-bone steak was ordered, paired with a refreshing mojito. The mojito arrived quickly, while the steak took a bit of time but was well worth the wait. The presentation was remarkable—tableside, the waiter lit a fire, sliced the steak right off the bone, and added flair with a "Salt Bae" style salt drizzle. The first bite was even offered directly from the tip of a large knife, adding a touch of fun to the meal.
The steak was cooked perfectly to medium, with a tender, juicy interior and a crisp exterior. Accompanied by French fries and a rich poivre sauce, it was a delightful meal.
For dessert, the Chef’s special cheesecake with gold flakes was both beautiful and delicious, even for someone who doesn’t typically enjoy cheesecake. The live band provided a great backdrop to the evening, making the entire experience both lively and enjoyable.

Read moreAbsolutely terrible experience, it could be nice. But it’s a performative restaurant. Everyone flashing lights with their camera. The musician was way too loud - see photo. 100dcb in a restaurant is crazy to me.
Ribeye Steak came with a silly performance, on a wooden plate, they cut it for me, it got cold in minutes. I ordered it with “sautéed” vegetables, they were boiled / over sautéed, which I had asked prior if they would be actually sautéed because who likes their vegetables plain and soft?
I ordered it with chimichurri sauce, I got cold gravy instead by the time the correct sauce came out my steak was cold.
My prawn starter was delicious and my Dads goat cheese salad was also delicious by all accounts.
The service, was actually good, I can tell they’re well trained, they were performative, but good.
Absolutely not my vibe, absolutely lovely interior. But yeah, I’ve not ringing in my ears, feel sick from the loudness and I have a headache.
An expensive restaurant by Moroccon standards.
No alcohol, maybe that would have made it tolerable.
No one else seemed bothered, Infact everyone else enjoyed it, maybe I’m autistic, maybe unfortunate with the seating....
