Large portions, debatable quality. On a crazy hot summer day we tried to get some food -any food!- around noon, near the southeast corner of the medina, to no avail. So we decided to try later (after 4 pm) at the Ville Nouvelle, only to find everything still closed. We walked until we find La Piscope, and ate there. There was a feeble air conditioner, still the place felt like an oven. Place is noisy with kids, but tolerable. Portions are American-sized, which is great when you're hungry. But most of the items we wanted were not available. I ended up eating a seafood pizza packed with calamari and shrimp -which tasted like cardboard. Read moreWent there three times to have lunch and dinner. This place is popular with the locals. The head waiter first welcomed us and helped to us seat and he was expecting a big tip afterwards. We did tip him after the meal but it wasn't big enough for him, so he ignored us in the next visit but did give him a small tip and on third visit no tip at all and he was expecting it. The food is average and cheap and it can quite busy...
