Molly's Diner — Restaurant in Kenitra

This review is based on multiple visits:

Molly's is an amazing viby restaurant and very unique with their 80s American design and all the props and items from that great period and being very spacious. And that's it.

I wont say the food is horrible, but most of the menu is inacceptable, and here is why:

1. Menu Size, i won't complain about having many options but about not being able to serve and present those options in a proper way. The menu is so large that you start questioning your taste everytime an item catches your attention and of course having a large menu is great but the cooks seem to be unable to master or ace their menu and end up serving over sweet or over salty or even salty items that need to be sweet.

2. Food quality, the burgers were amazing, small but tasty and smelled fantastic, the tacos were well made and had plenty of sauce and meats.

But the Cordon bleu, nuggets and such chicken items were terrible, they did not taste fresh or even chicken at all, more like a mashed sort of chicken like paste but at least they were cooked perfectly and golden.

The milkshakes/smoothies/Frappé were a huge disappointment, most of them were different from what advertised, i remember ordering a Mango Frappé that was advertised as an orange liquid with cream on top and slices of mango, i reveived a brown-ish colored drink that tasted like syrup with sour milk and it felt salty and sour for a "sweet" beverage, with pieces of mango on top of the cream. And it made my throat burn and gave me a terrible after taste,same thing can be told for another chocolate option.

The Nuggets looked amazing and the taste was good but they leave an after taste of industrial paste based food.

3. The service, the service was usually good and the personel is plenty even though not smiley, but one time while there were no more than 5 customers and the restaurant's owner or Accountant, i was served my French Tacos quicker than the Frappé and i had to wait 12 mins for the frappé to arrive as if it was served as an after meal dessert only to be served a warm frappé that was horrible to drink. While there are more personnel than customers, orders take longer than expected.

Advice to owner: let go of pre-made and insdustrial processed food, they are easy to serve but horrible to taste, especially that you have many personnel just hanging around, you could have them trained on all verticals to easily swap and replace eachother when needed or when the rush hour...

While the restaurant tries to replicate the look and feel of an American diner, I was offput by the rude staff. They initially didn't even know what a salad was - I had to point it out on their menu (both in French and Darija). They looked very confused and assured me it would be delivered on the side. Lo and behold, a salad never materialized. Instead, they said they "mixed it in" with my food, which wasn't true. The food was on the greasy side. The burger was tasty but the Turkish kebab wrap was too greasy. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place to...

Bad experience concerning the food and the service. I got served a cold burger. When I complained to the first worker he said I can warm it up for you... I went to the second and he ignored my complaint and dismissed me without a feedback. Feeling nauseous with the experience. The decor and atmosphere are nice though for nice pics.
