Ponta Beach Bar — Restaurant in Maputo Province

Minha experiência no Restaurante Bar Beat, em Ponta do Ouro, foi desapontadora e até mesmo frustrante:

Comida Fria: Infelizmente, os pratos que pedi foram servidos completamente frios, o que imediatamente prejudicou a experiência gastronômica. Sabor Insatisfatório: Além da temperatura inadequada, o sabor dos pratos também estava aquém do esperado, o que foi uma decepção. Frutos do Mar Problemáticos: Os frutos do mar, incluindo o caranguejo e o camarão, não só estavam frios, mas também excessivamente cozidos, comprometendo seriamente a qualidade dos pratos. Tratamento Discriminatório: É lamentável observar que parece haver uma diferença no tratamento entre estrangeiros e locais. Como um brasileiro, fiquei desapontado ao perceber que pratos servidos a outras mesas estavam frescos e apresentavam uma boa aparência, enquanto o meu não atendeu às expectativas.

No geral, minha visita ao Restaurante Bar Beat deixou uma impressão extremamente negativa. Não apenas a qualidade da comida foi abaixo do esperado, mas a possível discrepância no tratamento entre diferentes clientes é profundamente desapontadora. Não recomendaria o Restaurante Bar Beat com base na minha experiência.

My experience at Restaurante Bar Beat in Ponta do Ouro was disappointing and even frustrating:

Cold Food: Unfortunately, the dishes I ordered were served completely cold, which immediately affected the dining experience.

Unsatisfactory Taste: Besides the inadequate temperature, the flavor of the dishes also fell short of expectations, which was a letdown.

Problematic Seafood: The seafood, including crab and shrimp, was not only cold but also overcooked, seriously compromising the quality of the dishes.

Discriminatory Treatment: It is regrettable to observe that there seems to be a difference in treatment between foreigners and locals. As a Brazilian, I was disappointed to notice that dishes served to other tables were fresh and had a good appearance, while mine did not meet expectations.

Beautiful beach and great place to chill. Now with the Maputo-Katembe bridge, this place is just 1hour - 1hour and 15/30 minutes from Maputo. The staff is very helpful, You can buy drinks(cocktails) and be chilled at the beach. They are very careful with the environment. The food is excellent, I wanted something quick and the waiter told me that 15 to 20 the plate would be in my table and thats what happened, the prices are very good and they have a well diversified menu. If you have children they will love being there because beside the shore the bar has a place made for kids. If you are a surfer, surfboards and kayak’s are available to rent. This place is situated in the ideal spot which is right on the beautiful beach of Ponta next to Kaya Kweru Beach Chalets. The staff are very professional and the service is good. The menu is a bit pricey if you're converting to South African Rands but the food itself is SO delicious. If you do go to this bar/restaurant please do try the Portuguese Chicken and chips.
