As a food enthusiast always on the hunt for new dining experiences, I recently stumbled upon Food & Bowl Café and Restaurant at Kamalbinayak Chowk. It was Valentine’s Day 2025, and instead of heading to our usual spot, my wife, friends, and I (along with our little ones) decided to try something new. The café’s glowing signboard caught our attention, and being conveniently located along the main road with ample parking, we thought—why not?
From the outside, the place looked inviting, and stepping in, the ambience didn’t disappoint. The well-arranged interiors, cozy seating options, and warm lighting created a pleasant atmosphere. Though the space wasn’t the most child-friendly for walking around, it was still comfortable for families.
The menu was impressive, offering everything from local thali sets to continental dishes, along with a wide selection of drinks and wines. We ordered chicken and fish thali sets, along with a few appetizers. The food didn’t disappoint—flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying. As someone who values taste, I was pleased with the quality of the meal.
One thing that stood out was the service. Despite a limited number of staff, the waiters were attentive and managed to serve us efficiently.
A great spot for a casual meal, whether you’re dining solo, with family, friends, or someone special. With its prime location, ample parking, good ambience, and delicious food, it’s definitely...
Read moreI want to write some reviews which I feel like. First of all the place is great in such things like ambiance, decorations, comfortable sittings music and the staff were responsive and frequently engaging with the customers. I've tried some food which was great meaning that most of the cuisine they serve is also great.
But the real thing is this restaurant has a good opponent opposite it, which is good for the business and best for its customers. The opponent is also great in every aspect. But their best part is they serve any liquor in MRP with good food. The regular customer who goes over there doesn't think of many other options. Normally people focus into drinks although they eat more. So, if a customer can get a drink in MRP then that will be the best point to attract a customer. Also speeding up serving times to customers and giving offers and organizing some lucky draw on special occasions can also attract the customers.
This is just my thoughts 💭. The place is great if mentioned things get improved then will be awesome 😉 and no offense to anyone.

Read moreI had a terrible experience with this restaurant. I visited because of good Google reviews, but now I’ll never trust them again. I am never going to even trust the google reviews again. Their so-called packaged water had hair in it—absolutely unhygienic.
The food was overpriced and not worth it. For example, the mushroom chili (₹300) had only six pieces despite a decent taste. The mutton thali was terrible, and the veg biryani was just rice mixed with vegetable gravy—my friend, starving for 12 hours, couldn’t even finish it.
I accidentally transferred ₹1,000 extra, and while the staff promised the owner would return it, I still haven’t received the money after several calls.
The ambiance was noisy, the seating uncomfortable, and we had to change tables. Some items may be better, but overall, I’m very disappointed. Think twice...
