I recently visited this restaurant with my family to celebrate a birthday, and the experience was nothing short of appalling. We had high hopes for a pleasant celebration, but what unfolded was a series of disappointments.
First and foremost, the service was painfully slow. Several items we requested never even made it to the table, leaving us frustrated and hungry. The so-called âmutton thali,â which was advertised as a highlight, was shockingly limited in variety compared to what is typically offered at other establishments. Worse still, the mutton curry was inedibleâfilled with nothing but skin and fat, completely lacking in the rich, tender meat one would expect.
To add insult to injury, we were informed during the meal that we would need to pay extra if we wanted any green vegetables. This absurd policy was baffling and further detracted from an already disappointing meal.
However, the crowning absurdity of this entire experience came when it was time to cut the birthday cake, which we had thoughtfully pre-ordered by phone several hours before. We were horrified to be told that someone from the kitchen had placed a food item on top of the cake while it was in the fridge, rendering it unsuitable to serve. It is beyond comprehension how a restaurant could be so careless and unprofessional.
One important point worth mentioning is that many of the positive reviews on Google are misleading. The restaurant openly offers a discount in exchange for a 5-star rating, which explains the disproportionate number of glowing reviews that donât reflect the reality of the experience.
In summary, this restaurant failed on every level: slow service, subpar food, ridiculous policies, and a complete lack of attention to detail. I would strongly advise anyone considering this place to look elsewhere if you value your time, money, and sanity. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst dining experiences...

I recently visited this place and had one of the worst dining experiences I've ever encountered. First we were told that they have been booked but insisted on there being a free table we could use, after 10 minutes we were guided to a table with chaos all around it. They could've just told us that they were booked for the day and no seats were available (Not like we dont have other places to go to). The customer service was absolutely abysmal, with the staff showing little to no interest in attending to our needs. It was clear that the management and organization of the restaurant were severely lacking.
To make matters worse, the atmosphere was chaotic. Children from other tables were allowed to sleep on the floor right in front of our table, which not only disrupted our meal but also raised serious hygiene concerns. It felt more like a poorly-run daycare than a dining establishment.
As for the food and drinks, they were equally disappointing. Our Blue Lagoon mocktail was overly sweet to the point of being undrinkable, and the spicy wings were a complete letdownâoverly salty and not spicy at all.
I highly recommend avoiding this place. There are plenty of better options out there where you can enjoy a meal without the headache and disarray we...
Read moreThis was my third time dining at BHOJAN UNLIMITED SANO BAGAICHA , and once again, it did not disappoint. The consistency in the quality of food is what keeps me coming back. The flavors in their traditional Thakali set are rich and authentic, with each component perfectly complementing the other. The vegetables and rice, and especially the meat and sadeko achar are standout items that make the meal feel truly special. The service was prompt and friendly, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. One thing I appreciated during this visit was the balanced seasoning flavorful but not overwhelming, allowing the natural taste of the ingredients to shine. If youâre looking for an authentic Thakali experience, I highly recommend bhojan unlimted Thakali Khana. After three visits, itâs safe to say theyâve earned a loyal...
