On top of the logistical advantages, the hotel's courteous staff and their dedication to ensuring a pleasant stay further enhanced the overall experience. The on-site restaurant offered a delightful array of local and international cuisines, allowing our clients to indulge in a variety of flavors.
In conclusion, Hotel Tibet International exceeded my expectations as a trek organizer. Read moreGoogle rates this as a 3-star hotel, but what a disservice because this is absolutely a 4-star. We stayed down the street in another lovely hotel but had dinner at the Dusit among passing by a few other times. There was something about this hotel that just called to me. We left Kathmandu for Chitwan and on return booked in Thamel for the last 3 days of our Nepal trip. We ate dinner that night at the Tibet (which also was fabulous) and met one of the family owners. Her hospitality and friendliness knew no boundaries. She showed us a couple of the rooms and I knew I had to stay there. Another friend and I ended up breaking off from our group to stay at the Tibet the last 2 nights of our trip. I spent 2 weeks spread out in Delhi, Kathmandu, and Chitwan, and this was by far the nicest hotel that I stayed in, and it included reasonable prices! I am not one to be sold on branding, but the retro logo mixed with traditional architecture and design gave an aesthetic to which I fell in love. It was quaint, niche, and the service was 5 star. Breakfast was modern mixed with regional and most palatable. Don't forget to try the spa next door! It may have been the best...
