Hotel Mudita in Katmandu deserves to be a 4 stars hotel. The attitude of everyone working there is amazing. Each one is well trained, friendly, wonderful. Prashansa and Priscila, at the reception, without forgetting the young and efficient man, always knowledgeable and active, (I forgot his name :( and the Operation Manager, Krishna Tambakar, often present to check the comfort of the clients. Perfect food, well presented by the Chef Ganesh Ponday, who creates the visual art and taste of a great restaurant. He is assisted by young and friendly staffs who are serving to perfection, Ramila Rui, Susmita, Abis Lagegu and Mandip Gajmer. (Sorry for the spelling and the memory of names). All of them are active and discreet around gourmet customers. It is worthy to experiment the menu. Not to forget Kabita Jamangli, who takes a good care of rooms, always smily and so pleasant that it is impossible to forget her. This is why I need to name all these active employees who do their best to make this hotel a great place to stay. The location is perfect if you want to stay where the stupa is standing, in its beauty. No second thought about this hotel. It is well managed, everyone involved has my admiration and I wish to all, the success they deserve. I stayed there a month and hopefully I will return one...
ย ย ย Read moreWe stayed 16 days at Hotel Mudita and it was a fabulous experience. All staff were kind, attentive and provided excellent service. Rooms were cleaned daily and bottled water was provided as well. We stayed in the family suite that had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room/kitchen common area and 2 balconies.
The location is great as well since it is within a 5 minute walk from the Boudha Stupa and had plenty of shopping and restaurants close by. We often took taxis as transportation and were organized by the lovely front desk employees.
I will definitely be returning back to Hotel Mudita when I am back in Nepal and recommend that you...
ย ย ย Read moreThis hotel was a huge relief and almost felt like a blessing after staying at some pathetic hotels near Mediciti. ||For one, the hotel offers an ideal location for those seeking proximity to Boudha Stupa, which is just a few minutes' walk away. The establishment impresses with its cleanliness and well-maintained surroundings, less noise compared to other hotels and of course good foods. While it may be slightly pricey, the overall experience, including the ambiance and service, justifies the cost. A worthwhile investment for a memorable stay near this...
