The Yellow House is a fantastic and cozy gem in the heart of Sanepa, Lalitpur area. I attended their Sunday Farmer's Market which runs every Sunday from 9 am to 1 pm. Grabbed some chips and guacamole from one of the vendors and some cookies and lemon tart from a bakery vendor which were sweet and delicious. I ordered a latte and the Big Yellow breakfast which came with eggs, bacon, sausage and delicious bread and jam. My friends had coffee, iced tea and the same breakfast set. Amazing garden space and lots of options for food. We also got to try their homemade blueberry cakes, courtesy of Miss Rani. Will be back soon! And definitely recommend all interested to visit and enjoy the sunshine and Sunday Market vibes!! 😃

Accommodation: nice sized, clean rooms; hot shower; good water pressure; WiFi is a bit slow at times, which is par for the course; a pitcher of drinking water is provided; beds are a bit hard, even for Nepal. The rooms are down a series of steps from the restaurant and reception and the staff were helpful carrying my big bag to and from the entrance. Restaurant: The food is very good. Over a couple of days, I tried the Thick Banana Pancakes, which live up to their name, bagel, pork sausage, sautéed green, fruit salad, baguette, poached egg, and porridge. All were good. Service is a bit slow, and sometimes they forget things or mix up people’s orders.

The newly reopened Yellow House is a wonderful mix of cosy and vibrant. The first floor is really suited to hanging out with friends on lazy afternoons. The common area is great to work from or for holding meetings. It is a nice place to go to for all day brunch. Service is prompt and food feels fresh (although a tad on the pricier side). The greenery adds to the overall vibe of the place. My only suggestion for making the dining experience better would be to train the young wait staff a bit more on taking orders so there is no confusion between similar sounding vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes.

Great 1st experience, pleasant and friendly. I was really sceptical on my 1st glance of this place, but as I entered inside, I was wrong to judge a book by its cover. This place has indoor and outdoor seating, and both choices are good, even so indoor was too hot, and outdoor had mosquito problem. Customer service is of high quality, as well as the food is of high quality with enough portion to it. Really loved the atmosphere this place had, good place to enjoy peacefully, either reading a book or working.

I have not resided here; I have simply tasted their cuisine. I appreciate their nutritious Mexican bowl, highly beneficial during a detox process. A healthy serving of salad and onions accompanied with chicken and black rice. I adored their veggie panini. Rich in tastes. Their breakfast was another nice aspect. However, the egg requires a slightly longer cooking time; except from that, everything was perfect. I will recommend this establishment for anybody on a diet or looking for a healthy meal.

The atmosphere was peaceful, clean, and beautiful. This gorgeous spot is filled with so many delights the hardest decision will be what to order. I am not going to lie I was blown away by a lot of the little plates! The buckwheat steam Momos is the perfect combination of spicy, savory and slightly charred flavor. It is in a very fairly busy part of valley but it’s a good restaurant that I’d highly recommend to anyone who finds themselves in Kathmandu!
