Hotel Elephant Camp And Korean Restaurant — Restaurant in Ratnanagar

I intended to stay at this place for 2 nights, but actually stayed only 1. I was very disappointed with the staff & the owner who are not honest.||||First, they overcharged me for a short trek to the National park, convincing me that the price is good & the services are perfect. But in fact is that they charged 4000 rupees (a bit more than 40$) for less than 3 hours walk in the jungles!!! At the same time other companies sell the whole day trips (starting at 6:30 finishing in the evening) for about 3500 rupees with the same conditions - 1 person 2 guides.||||Second, the water was only cold despite they promiced me hot water; electricity & internet were constantly interrupting despite they told me it would be working properly.||||Third, the bedding was dirty.||||Forth, they also overcharged me in their final bill.||||I wouldn't recommend to stay at "Elephant camp" as these people...

The room we stayed in was a bit dirty, especially paint flakes coming down from the wall. We also found a second key to our room outside of it hidden under a table. The owner is a nice guy, but a bit nosy and tried to sell us overpriced tours. He got offended when we found a tour to the national park that was half his price. Also he wanted a high prices for a room in the down-season. We finally got it for 500 nru but with an additional 10℅ service charge for no service. The food in the hotel restaurant is overpriced, hence we did not eat there, but these high prices are common in the whole city as it is very touristy.||The hotel garden is quite nice and there is a sitting area facing the garden in front...

Review for Korean style restaurant only, had bim bim bap... partly cause in all other places I’ve had it, it comes in less than 10min, and partly for soup. It was really tasty and good. It took a really long time to come (30min plus?) and I had to ask about soup (missing). I felt bad for it taking so long to prepare when it’s one of the cheaper items on the menu. I had trouble getting the waiter to understand me, and he didn’t seem to make much effort to. And when it came to paying I was nearly given the wrong amount, with no apology or acknowledgement. No need to tip, they add that on for you...
