Miss Central — Restaurant in Alkmaar

Beautiful cafe with delicious lunch options. The inside is lovely and has a very uplifting vibe. Ordered the broccoli soup and sweet potato fries. The soup was flavorful and the fries had a great crunch. Also ordered a stroopwaffle apple dessert (not pictured) and it was delightful! Not too sweet and went perfectly with an espresso.

The second time we enjoyed afternoon tea. The savory items were better than the dessert, but everything was still delicious for the price. Also, we really enjoyed the selection of tea and the unlimited hot water. Would definitely recommend a high tea here with friends!

While this is definitely a place to go to meet up with friends, they did have a little table with coloring books for kids in the corner.

I look forward to returning in the future and trying their high tea...

Very chilled and smooth atmosphere. Staff was quick in reaction and polite and clear in answering questions. Good selection of wine, for a decent price. Large menu to choose from, with a big scale of meat and veggie options.

The staff in the kitchen made the difference for us. Where a normal lunchroom wouldn't bother to remark what they serve, the chef from the kitchen explained in detail what was on our plate. Dressed well and not only looked sharp but also answered every question without hesistance, with a certainty that made us think we were dining in a star...

Hands down for the afternoon tea set menu! My family took me here for a last minute afternoon tea bridal shower. Booked in the morning, and within the limited time they prepared most wonderful table set up.
