My friend is vegan and according to him this is the best place in Alkmaar to have proper vegan food and multiple choices. The home made meals are very good and I prefer the vegan mayonnaise because it just tastes better. I'm not turning vegan now but I am really enjoying the vegan food they serve here. Hier is een suggestie voor je review: --- Zojuist samen met een vriendin gegeten bij VERS en we waren beiden ontzettend tevreden. We kozen voor de kokoscurry met kip, en die was absoluut heerlijk. Het eten is van topkwaliteit en smaakte echt vers. Het personeel was vriendelijk en attent, en de sfeer in het restaurant was gezellig en ontspannen. Wat ook handig is, is dat het restaurant dicht bij het station ligt, waardoor het makkelijk bereikbaar is. Na het hoofdgerecht besloten we ook nog een toetje te proberen en die waren echt de kers op de taart — ontzettend lekker! Kortom, ik kan VERS van harte aanbevelen voor iedereen die op zoek is naar een fijne plek met lekker eten en goede service.
