Délifrance Amersfoort — Restaurant in Amersfoort

Perhaps it's the Delifrance formula, but for those who don't know, there is a significant price difference between sitting down and take away. A warm sandwich that costs 4,95 for take away would easily become 9,95 when you sit down, order and eat in. Same is also valid for the lunch combo. I ordered a half baguette with warm meat (pork) and saté sauce and fried onion. Unfortunately they put the baguette in the oven with the fried onion so the top layer was charred, which made it very bitter so I scooped it off. The pork was probably a bit too moist when it was placed in the baguette so despite being warmed up in an oven, the bread was quite soggy underneath the meat. Bij het Stationsplein in Amersfoort kwamen we een Delifrance tegen. Ligt wel een beetje buiten het centrum winkelgebied. We kamen daar in het centrum tijdens onze winkeltocht wel een Deli Café Francais tegen, maar dat is niet hetzelfde. We kenden dat café francais nog niet, zie de review daar. Delifrance is ons wel bekend, we komen die broodjes restaria's vaak tegen. We zoeken altijd naar kwaliteits snackbars of broodjeszaken zoals Delifrance of Subway. Voor als je even snelle trek heb, of trek tussendoor en niet lange tijd kwijt wil zijn in een restaurant. Bij mij helpt ook niet tijdens de winkelvermoeidheid, laten we even rusten in het restaurant, dan kunnen we er weer tegen. Nou dat werkt totaal niet, na het restaurant heb ik helemaal geen zin en puf meer om verder te winkelen. Daarom alleen maar een broodje of snack nemen. Wij zijn best tevreden over Delifrance, maar meningen en vooral smaken verschillen. Het hoofgerecht is broodjes, allerlei soorten, ook croissants uiteraard, en een uitgebreid assortiment aan beleg. Verder zijn er vele kleine, noem het luxe hapjes en natuurlijk de drankjes met op de eerste plaats de koffie. Er is over het algemeen niet veel op de Delifrance aan te merken. Men kan de prijs aan de hoge kant vinden, klopt ook wel een beetje, maar zoals gezegd het is...

Came here for lunch on a workday. Sat outside enjoying the sun. Friendly staff. Reasonable pricing. Does get busy during lunch time.

Ordered their sate gehaktballen. Huge portion. Juicy meatballs with nice sate sauce. Went well with their slices of baguette. Fries were pretty decent too. Washed it down with their mango juice which was not too sweet & refreshing.
