Bombari — Restaurant in Amersfoort

I really like the atmosphere here. Interior looks amazing with the poppy colors and nice and glossy yellow pizza oven. Cashier on a DJ booth with a disco ball on the ceiling. Good vibes.

The pizzas were not bad. I liked the one with artichoke cream and asparagus. That was creative.

I always love it when on a margerita the big chunks of mozzarella are added after coming out of the oven. Unfortunately here they added it before the oven, turning the base into a red-orange mixed flat pizza that looks a bit inspiring and was a bit too salty as well to my taste to be super super honest.

Adding the burrata was a good solution though! Really added that nice and clean creaminess to it.

Staff was super friendly, and it was great they had this pizza hour reservation that made it easy to squeeze in a spot last minute to get our Neapolitan pizza fix.

They also have some nice outdoor seating and... drumroll... Super Nintendo with Donkey Kong! Really...

I can highly recommend Bombari, I have had a great experience and am very excited about the set-up, food and hospitality of the staff.

Great Italian food (a nice variety of choices for Lunch, dinner or drinks&bites), we started with some charcuteria and had a very nice authentic stone oven pizza, well prepared and tastful!

The terrace is very nice, vibrant atmosphere and looks cheerful with the colorful beach umberallas and the playroom downstairs is also great fun. The inside of the restaurant looks welcoming and with a beautiful oven and overall interior.

The staff is very friendly and they seen excited and content to work here.

It's only approximately a 2 minute walk from Amersfoort Central station and 5-9 minutes to Amersfoort...

Ja Gewoon in de stad Amersfoort een leuk, gezellig en ‘ ander ‘ Italiaans restaurant voor lunch en avondeten. Zeer prettig personeel, aardig en bereikbaar. En dan het eten: erg goed. Misschien wel beter dan in Italië zelf. Het is niet gewoon pizza maar net dat bijzondere of ‘liefde voor het vak’ proef je terug in elke hap. Het restaurant is - waarschijnlijk door locatie, smaak en prijs - wel goed vol dus reserveren is een must. Nu noem ik prijs en die is goed. Wellicht verrassend betaalbaar (de duurste pizza is €16) en daardoor ook veel (jonge) studenten in het gastenbestand. Na het eten (zo rond 2100h) verandert deze pizzeria/Italiaans restaurant in een soort jongerencafé / sportcafé. Er is op de avond dat ik er was een tafeltenniswedstrijd (meer een ping pong wedstrijd) georganiseerd waarbij iedereen kan meedoen. Erg leuk, anders en gezellig. Ook vermeldenswaardig is naast de bekende bieren dat de rode huiswijn een aanrader is. De Italiaanse toetjes (zoals cannoli en tiramisu) zijn ook top. Mocht je nog ruimte over hebt na je eten is dit een aanrader om het toetje maar een keer niet over te slaan. En als klap oo de vuurpijl raad ik de limoncello aan. Erg erg erg goed! Kortom een aanrader en zeker een restaurant waar je terug wil komen. Volgens mij is afhalen ook een optie (niet gecheckt) maar ik zou omrijden om hier mijn pizza te halen ipv afhalen bij de Amerikaanse...
