the Eemhuis — Local services in Amersfoort

Cultureel centrum, bibliotheek, archief en Scholen in de kunst. Prima sfeer en personeel is zeer behulpzaam. Studieruimte, concerten, taalles, computerlessen, workshops etc. Mogelijkheid tot koffie drinken op 1e etage. Op 4e etage, behorend bij scholen in de kunst vind je café Bruis met diverse kleurige en comfortabele zitmogelijkheden en mooi uitzicht op de Eem. Nadeel van de bibliotheek is dat de boeken op thema staan en het daardoor soms lastig is als je een specifiek boek zoekt waarvan je de schrijver al weet. Dat kan dan bijvoorbeeld op historisch, oorlog, waar gebeurd of landen liggen of in magazijn. Dat maakt het tot een tijdrovende zoektocht. Te weinig boeken in de Spaanse taal. Ook zijn er heel lage planken waardoor je bijna op de grond moet zitten om die titels te bekijken. Laatste nadeel dat je beneden een sleutel moet halen voor gebruik van het toilet. Ondanks dat, ik kom er graag en vind het Eemhuis een aanwinst...
