Ayumi Sushi — Restaurant in Amsterdam

As someone who has tried most of the sushi take away places in Amsterdam. This place Ayumi Sushi definitely made it into the list! The quality and price for what you get is really good! I tried it here because it was nearby a venue where I was going Q-factory. We ordered 15 euros for two for a quick snack and it was worth it! When you are at the station Muiderpoort its probably a 10 min walk.

Its run by a couple who owns the place and they make the sushi on the spot, you can also call to put an order if you dont want to wait.

Its not a restaurant its very small its just a working space and a waiting corner. If the weather is good there are two picnic tables outside where...

I have been coming here every other week for 2 years now! The salmon sushi menu is the perfect meal when I don’t feel like cooking and I want something fresh and easy. There’s too much low quality sushi in Amsterdam and I can assure you this is not that. The couple that runs it are super kind and always great to talk to. Right now there’s massive construction outside (its geared towards takeaway), but I think could be fun to sit outside and eat on their benches...

I feel like Ayumi is Amsterdam's best kept secret. You might think this is a neighborhood hang, but if you're looking for the best and most authentic sushi that is better priced than anywhere else in Amsterdam, this spot is worth any cycling trip.
