BarbecueShop Amsterdam — Restaurant in Amsterdam

The store experience was fine. My issue is with the process after. Having been told that my order would arrive in a few days, I received no further update when the order didnt. Every time I reach out to client service via chat (when trying to call I was on hold for 45 min! and still unable to speak to someone), I am told someone will contact me with order information. It has now been 2+ weeks and no one contacted me with anything. During one chat session I was told that i will get a phone call by end of day. By the end of day I got on the chat again to inquire. Was told that the day isnt over yet and someone will get a hold of me. Guess what? No one did. Just a horrible experience overall

Update: for the 4th time after contacting customer service, i've been told someone will call me back. It has not been a month and I still have no idea where my order is or what the expectation for delivery should be. Arguably the worst customer service experience...

Nog nooit zoiets meegemaakt bij een bestelling. Cadeau gekregen van vrienden voor m’n afstuderen en geleverd zoals te zien is op de foto’s hieronder. Omdat, naar mening van de afdeling Support, ik niet binnen acceptabele tijd het defect aangegeven heb (in de tijd dat de barbecue ingepakt in originele doos bij vrienden stond), wil Barbecueshop.nl hierin niet meebewegen en meedenken om tot een oplossing te komen. Kansloos. Mocht je een kapotte barbecue nodig hebben voor in je tuin is Barbecueshop een goede optie. De enige oplossing die geboden is, is om samen met Barbecueshop samen te kijken naar een nieuwe barbecue..

Toevoeging 1 maand later: Uiteindelijk, na veel mailcontact alsnog een nieuwe barbecue mogen inwisselen. Blij met de oplossing, minder blij met hoe lang ik hierover gedaan heb en hoeveel brieven ik heb moeten sturen (2 weken herroepingsrecht = binnen twee weken zonder reden van opgaaf het product terug sturen en je geld terugkrijgen, niet te verwarren met non-conformiteit = product is niet geleverd in de staat hoe ik deze had mogen verwachten = meestal 2 maanden)

Kortom, blij met de uiteindelijke oplossing, minder blij met hoeveel moeite hier...
