Chido Streetfood Bar — Restaurant in Amsterdam

The place is okay, the food taste was mostly plain and some were burnt, no dish really stood out. It was also hard to get dish advice from the servers since they were determined to just speak Dutch. Wasn't really friendly.

We ordered entrees and main dishes, and got everything at the same time. When they forgot one dish, we tried to ask if it was forgotten but since they were only speaking Dutch they understood that we wanted another order of the same dish. When we were leaving, they started speaking English.

Mediocre food, less than average service. We went on a night that had a set menu, and although we had already mentioned our preference for vegetarian dishes when making the reservation, on the night the waiters were not willing to accommodate. In the end, some of the main dishes were replaced by a bland nachos that we could have bought at the store. Had a very nice high tea, it was a bit different than other places which made it more fun! Food was tasty and a nice combination of different things. We sat at the terrace with the beautiful weather so that was also a plus.

Tip : we also got a slush, but didn't know it had alcohol in it (we didn't pay attention to the menu /didn't read the explanation of the high tea that good) but it would be good if a check would be done with the customer if it's okay that there's alcohol in it as we had to drive back.
