Grill Bar De Mazzel — Restaurant in Amsterdam

we paid 25€ each. Ordered ribeye. I got a piece of meat (100gr), one piece of sla leaf. two slice cucumber, one slice tomato a bowl of fries. imagine all you could fit in your mouth in one go. The meat tasted bad . It was cooked super bad. Like you buy from butcher and put on fire, no marination.the meat was stretchy and not chewable. I tolerated it with a lot of salt, otherwise the meat was tasting like a meat boiled in water only. My colleague who ordered the same, tried to cut the meat but knife couldn't cut the meat and the meat shot out of the plate. The volume of the food was almost half of my expectations. The meat was more or less the size of a patty that McDonald's put in burgers. Do not go there....

Straight fire!!! Stumbled upon this gem when walking home. Really friendly staff, especially the young dude. When I got back and opened my take away I was blown away by the level of quality and care they took to pack everything. Heated pita in separate foil, still hot. Fries separate and crispy. Vandaag samen met mijn kinderen gegeten in de "nieuwe" Mazzel. Wat een verbetering na de grondige verbouwing. Een warme en huiselijke sfeer en mooi intrieur. Schone keuken. Bij binnenkomst werden wij heel vriendelijk begroet door de aangename gastvrouw en heren. Waaronder een bekend gezicht van lang geleden Mazzel.

Blij verrast waren wij dan ook over de nieuwe uitgebreide menukaart. Mijn zoon die niet zo van shoarma houd kon nu geen eens kiezen tussen al het lekkers. Voorgerechten, (turkse) pizza's, vlees en vis schotels.. Voor ieder wat wils.

Het eten was heerlijk, mals vlees, met liefde bereid en alles vers. De prijzen zijn heel schappelijk.

Kinderen voelen zich welkom!

Kortom, zeker een aanrader geworden en voor meerdere...
