De Buurman — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Besides the fact that their falafel is always perfectly herby and crunchy yet soft, their chips are always 🤌🏻, all their wraps are fresh and sumptuous, and that they’re really down to earth and friendly… I think that their kaassouffle double smash burger has changed life as I knew it.

Update 2025: I’m sad to say that this place has gone down hill. The fries are now oily and thin and the quality and unique herby fresh taste of the wraps is now just like a posh snack bar. They used to have really fresh sambal and pomegranate in the wraps with so many fresh herbs and now it’s just meh. I miss the...

An amazing lunch break here at Buurman 🥸

From the outside it seems like your ordinary snackbar. But, once you take a step inside you are welcomed with lovely music tunes 🎶, a more modern interior, and a happy big smile from the staff 😁.

The menu is quite big; wraps, burgers, bowls, and snacks some with quite interesting new flavours!! Buurman is very trendy ♡

We had the the wraps and they taste as good they look! ♡ the ingredients are very fresh 🥒🥬🍅🌶️

Absolutely lovely place. Its a home far away from home with good food, excellent service and a nice family feeling to it. I usually go for the just unbelievable Patat Stoofvlees (Beef Stew & Fries). The Buurman got this dish close to (if not at) perfection levels. Beef so soft and juicy and the fries so crispy.The Mothers Half Chicken and the Turkish Pizza are very good as well. I go there every time and they never ever disappoint me. I love my wife but I guess I love the Buurman...
