Piccola Storia — Restaurant in Amsterdam

I’m always on a hunt for Neapolitan pizza as it’s my favorite. Piccola Storia is not it, I’m sorry. If you’re looking for really good pizza, go next door to Bella Storia.

Ordered a Margherita, the sauce was super watery, got all mixed with the cheese that was just a big blob. Never had a Neapolitan pizza with such crazy cheese, they also put some shredded cheese on top. Why..? The sauce was so watery that the cheese was sliding off completely. I understand Neapolitan pizza is a bit wet, but this was soup.

The dough was definitely not authentic Neapolitan (neither in the taste nor texture). It reminded me more of a New York Pizza dough mixed with a bit of Neapolitan. You can even see this in my picture.

Flavor-wise the pizza was good. Compared to some random pizzas in the city, I still prefer this I guess, but it’s just such a letdown regardless…

This place is epic! Easily confused with a neighbour with similar name and must say didn't visit. Aniehows... You just got to love this. One round table with too old students and that's it. Just got besje our British short tail and wanted to celebrate with my wife. Do you have seats? Little bar. Sure. We take place. Huge oven in the back wood burning. Pizza in 7 minutes served in a box, no cuttlerty, drinks in disposable cups.... EPIC. can't explain walking into this napoli home kitchen, the best pizza ever. Like in ever! The crust was delicious, the meat and cheese well composed. I am 1.87 'm and 106 kilo I know pizza. This was best ever. My wife same experience. Lovely...

One of my favourite pizza 🍕 here in Amsterdam. Tasty, with a thick yet not heavy crust. There are only a few options, but I believe you don't need more. They also have a pizza of the day which is usually very good, with interesting mix of ingredients. I always recommend the Margherita anyway.

They used to do an amazing calzone, hope they'll bring it back to the menu 🙏
