I always loved this place and I order take away from them very often, Sunday 15th of May I went there with a friend and we sat outside on the terrace. The service was very disappointing, hard to order, we had to ask 3 different waiters just to simply get the menu(which I checked online at the end) and then no one was able or in charge to take the order so we waited for the right person to come. After a long we ordered 2 cocktails, 1 starter and 1 meal to share. The starter arrived way before the drinks and so did the main course dish. We were constantly asking the waiters to bring us our drinks or at least a glass of water to eat with, but nothing. 2 tables around us had the same issue. All waiters were young students very distracted and absolutely not paying attention to what was happening around: people waiting to order, people waiting for their drinks and people leaving the tables that would stay dirty until the next customer. At the very end we gave up on our drinks and went inside to pay for the food, because we didn’t want to wait even for that. The food is absolutely great, I love it all, but honestly the service was very disappointing and as a restaurant manager myself I know how busy days are and how to manage certain situations. The fact that there was no one single adult guiding these young students on the terrace was the problem. I don’t blame anyone here, you know how to do your job but if I wasn’t living in Ijburg I would definitely...

This is my first time in Amsterdam and I am staying in a hotel right down the street from KOH, last night my business partner and I went in search of food, we walked a few kilometers and looked into a couple of restaurants but didn't see, or smell, anything that looked good. The first place we walked by was KOH but it looked like a tiny little delivery place so we kept on walking. On our way back we popped our heads into KOH and that's when the wonderful smell of the food hit us, so we popped in, sat down and ordered. The food was wonderful, it's a small loud bustling place that seems to do mostly deliveries, tables were tiny with uncomfortable stools but the food really shined! We were offered shrimp crackers when we sat and started with fish cakes that came with a yummy chili sauce. I had the yellow curry with chicken and it was extremely tasty, the flavors were on point and the chicken was cooked beautifully. A few bottles of Thai beer to go with the food made for a wonderful experience. Would definitely eat here again. Maybe not a fine dining atmosphere but the food was exceptional!

I was only going to give four stars based on the noise and small cluttered dining area, based purely on the food it was a...

Oh, where do I even begin with this review? I must confess, I had quite the internal struggle before deciding to grace this Thai restaurant in the suburbs of Amsterdam with my opinion. It was like a battle between my timid side, worrying about the impact of my words in the vast virtual world, and my desire to reveal my secret admiration for Thai cuisine. Picture me, a mere mortal, entering a restaurant with hopeful expectations and an empty stomach.

But hey, I finally said to myself, why not? Every single opinion out there deserves to be heard! People must know the culinary prowess of these talented cooks, the charm of the waitresses, and even the atmospheric temperature for their comfort. A few words on Google Maps can transform it into a realm of transparency, honesty, and a better understanding of the dining landscape. What if my review inspires people to review my other reviews, go to the same places and review them in turn? Should I review their reviews? Ah, the endless possibilities!

In short: I ate green curry veggies. Was delicious. Go...

This was one of the worst experiences I've had in Amsterdam. I completely understand that restaurants are busy, especially outside seating when it's nice outside. When I visited, it was early, and they were not busy. I was told only the manager can seat people. I waited 5-10 minutes for the manager. He acted like it was horrible that I was alone. He said I could sit by the water. In the sun it got incredibly hot, so I asked to move to an open table in the shade. I was told I couldn't because they might need to push the tables together for a larger party. People travel alone and shouldn't be treated poorly just because someone else might come in later. When I ordered a tuna bowl, I ordered quinoa. The tuna said grilled and came raw. I don't care about that, but it needs to say that. The quinoa seemed to be mixed with something else as well. Just for people with allergies, the menu should state what you're getting. I was expecting better from a decent restaurant in a nice area by the water.

We went there without reservation, so we asked the guy in the restaurant nicely but he was shouting to us saying that we have to ask his colleagues - which is understandable because we didn’t make a reservation. We had Thai foods, they were very expensive - for 18 euro, you get a small plate of pad thai with small shrimps- and absolutely not authentic and not a real Thai food recipes. I am Thai and worked in Thai restaurants in NL, unfortunately, this is the worst Thai foods ever. Only 1 staff was good for us, the rest just ignored us, we sat there with foods in front of us for almost 10 minutes until they brought us plates and spoons/ forks. Nice atmosphere outside.
