Marbles Inn — Hotel in Amsterdam

We stayed here for 1 night during our visit to Amsterdam (2 people) and it was a very comfortable stay. It's located outside the city centre, so its quiet area which we liked but you can be in Central Station in 15min. The tram runs by every few minutes, so it wasn't a long wait, not even coming back at night. There were other people staying there but we really didn't see them or heard them. ||||Its a 4-level house, we were in the third level, with our own bathroom, which was very spacious. Our host Andre was super nice. The stairs are the typical dutch where they are small steps and goes up in a spiral. Of course is hard to carry luggage but Andre took care of that for us, since he is an expert :). ||||He also asked us what time we would want breakfast and by the time we came downstairs, he had the table set with everything you would want: bread, croissants, cereal, some cheeses and cold cuts, jam, etc. And he also made us eggs, which I liked. Coffee was just made so it was perfect. ||||Overall I really liked this place and would definitely stay again if I go back to Amsterdam. At the end you don't spend much time there and we had everything we needed, the breakfast was very good, was accessible by transit and the house is lovely. The price was very reasonable as well. Marbles Inn is one of the nicest places I have spent time in. It's located on an artificial island (!) called IJburg. Our room was perfect. The bed really comfortable. En suite big and warm. Excellent view e.g. at the Ajax Arena. André is the best host ever. He is very accommodating and easy-going. He allowed us to use the kitchen as we saw fit, especially during dinner time. Lovely place and lovely host. Calm and nice area to stay (15mins by tram from the city center). The room and bathroom were really clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast could not have been better. And, last but not least, the host is really lovely!!! He did his best to make our stay amazing. I cant wait to go back to Amsterdam! I will for sure stay...
