McDonald's — Restaurant in Amsterdam

It is a little bit odd how the ordering machines were out of paper for receipts the last two times I came by. When I brought this up to the employee working here, they just brushed it off and told me not to worry, because it'll be all right (I was the only customer at the establishment at the time) but that's not really relevant?? I just want to be sure that the next person does get a receipt??

Food was nice, and aside from the aforementioned incidents the employees are friendly as well

The prices are a bit high compared to McDonald's in other countries, and for whatever reason the prices also vary within the Netherlands. I am not sure what the "average" McDonald's price is like in the Netherlands, but I do know that there are other establishments of this chain that are...

Ik weet niet wat er tussen een half jaar geleden en nu is gebeurd bij dit filiaal maar de service is hard achteruit gegaan. Er staat nu standaard te weinig personeel in de keuken waardoor het een eeuwigheid duurt voordat je je eten hebt. En dan heb ik het niet alleen over de weekend avonden maar ook doordeweeks in de middag duurt het vaak minstens 20 minuten voordat je je eten hebt, slomer dan Amsterdamse Poort terwijl het daar vaak 3x zo druk is.

De prioriteiten van het personeel zijn ook heel scheef. Als er dan drie keer mensen naar je toekomen met dat ze geen bonnetje uit het apparaat hebben en hun bestelnummer niet weten (wat al meerdere keren dat ik er was het geval was), dan ga je dat toch meteen bijvullen in plaats van de grond staan dweilen?

Het helpt ook niet dat de klanten hier extra asociaal zijn. Ze hangen met z'n allen over de afhaalbalie waardoor niemand erbij kan, zijn luidruchtig aan het facetimen en zijn respectloos naar het personeel.

Ik had een QR-code voor een gratis product maar deze werd wel gescanned maar niet geregistreerd dus dan toch maar moeten betalen voor mijn McFlurry. Helaas was deze al helemaal soep toen ik hem kreeg en waren ze ook nog eens de karamelsaus vergeten.

Het personeel is vaak wel vriendelijk (vandaar de 2 sterren en niet 1) maar je kunt duidelijk zien dat ze haast hebben omdat ze gewoon de bestelling op de balie zetten en al weer terug de keuken inlopen zodra ze het nummer hebben omgeroepen.

Mijn tip (ik werk niet bij de mac dus heb er niet zoveel verstand van maar toch): zorg dat je wat meer personeel aanwezig hebt en ga wat meer dingen vooruit bakken zodat het alvast klaar is zodra het besteld wordt. Tot die tijd ga ik wel naar de Mac in...

didn’t get my order for more than 40 mins, and the place wasn’t even that crowded, had to tell the staff multiple times, finally got the order, the banana strawberry smoothie made my stomach go bad, and still getting its reflux which disrupted my sleep and motivated me to write this review, service wise I don’t remember any point in the history of my past where I had a service as bad as this. Also most machines for placing the order are broken. One positive is the weirdness of this place and it’s service, it’s so bad it made me laugh...
