Delhi-cious — Restaurant in Diemen

Loved the place. Dont even think twice, dine here. They are new and enthusiastic, running this restaurant with heart, epic tandoor and lots of yummy food. I would encourage the wine lovers to go for Pinot Grigio with the tandoori starters. Go for Dal Makhani, go for mutton dishes, and some lovely chaat options. Mention your spice levels before hand and I promise you wont be disappointed! Cant wait to taste more dishes

Edit: Now that it has been quite some months and we visited it again yesterday, it was worth editing my earlier review. We had chaat which was still really good. However the rotis were thick and half cooked at some places. Naan was good. The paneer kadhai and chicken dhaba had the exact same gravy. The gravy was just tomato paste with a lot of color. The pista kulfi and mango lassi was alright. By the end of the night, we were left with yellow colored fingers, unsatisfied with taste and quality which we used to experience. It also was extremely busy and took forever to get...

Delhicious is one of those few Indian restaurants in Amsterdam where the food and the ambience both remind me of India. The food, though slightly adjusted to the European palate sticks to its Indian roots. It’s also not merely a replication, but something new is attempted. The ambience is very soothing, and the tables are separate enough that it does not feel overwhelming or crowded. Perhaps the best part of the experience is the service. It’s very prompt, you feel taken care of, and the attempt is to always ensure you’re having the best time and really connecting with the food! I was placed with Rahul, who ensured I ordered what matched my mood at that moment. I also observed them taking the time to explain the dishes so people weren’t just ordering but actually enjoying their food! Delhicious is definitely a spot to visit...

I recently visited Delhi-cious, and it was truly an incredible experience! The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic Indian flavors that took me straight back to my roots. Each dish was prepared with such care, and the balance of spices was just perfect.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the ideal setting for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The interior decor reflected Indian culture beautifully, adding to the overall charm of the place.
