I recently visited Sunny Side and unfortunately, my experience was not that “sunny”. I asked for a simple orange juice without ice, but the response I received was baffling. The staff hesitated and responded with a dismissive “hmmm, I’m not sure about that,” as though this was an unusual or burdensome request.
Eventually, they agreed, only to serve the drink full of ice anyway. Please note there was 4 tables taken, so it was not due to business that it got messed up. After going back with it again, I finally got it without ice after three, in my opinion, not needed conversations, I got it in a smaller glass.
The fact that they do not want to sell a full glass of orange juice to “save” money, as it looked like to me, it’s beyond pathetic and says a lot about the place.
The overall atmosphere of the café wasn’t great either - far from welcoming or vibrant. The vibe lacked any warmth or energy.

No salt in any dish the bread served with humus was stale not crispy at all . The eggs were mediocre and crepes had horrible cheap quality chocolate sauce that we could not eat 2nd bite of it . I would highly recommend the potato pancakes, they were very delicious. I also tried a traditional Lithuanian dish called Cepelinai and it was very interesting and delicious at the same time!
