Backwerk — Restaurant in Arnhem

This is not the 1st time, but it already happened several times. We came in 1 hour after the opening time, and there was nothing on the shelves except the croissants. I work in horeca as well, and I have to come to work 1 hour before the opening time to prepare the food and make sure everything ready before opening time. Or you have to change the opening time or you have to train employees better. If you cannot prepare everything on time, but you still want to open, then when you work in such a service industry and want to keep the customers then at least greeting them and ask them what they want to order. When we came in there were 3 employees but none of them made eyes contact nor care what we need. Heute mal wieder bei Backwerk in Arnheim gewesen. Da ich zur Toilette musste, bat ich einen Verkäufer (um die 40 Jahre alt, wahrscheinlich der Inhaber, denn der war ca. 1 Std. später auch in dem anderen Backwerk) darum, mir die Türe zu öffnen. Da ich von ihm ignoriert wurde, wahrscheinlich weil die Musik viel zu laut war und er mich nicht richtig verstanden hat, bat ich ihn ein zweites Mal und auch noch ein drittes Mal, mir die Türe zur Toilette zu öffnen. Daraufhin wurde er total patzig, frech und unfreundlich und maulte mir auf englisch entgegen, wie er von mir angesprochen werden will und was ich zu sagen hätte. Ich verstehe Englisch und kann es auch sprechen (auch wenn ich schon älter bin), da es aber bisher in Arnheim fast nirgendwo nötig war und deutsch meist gut verstanden wurde, habe ich ihn in meiner Muttersprache angesprochen. Und die ist nun mal deutsch. Wenn das nicht gewünscht ist, dann bitte Schilder anbringen, dass man nur auf englisch angesprochen werden möchte. Ansonsten bin ich auch gerne bereit englisch zu reden, wenn man in einem vernünftigen Ton mit mir redet. Vielleicht sollte man auch mal die Musik leiser drehen, dann hätte man wahrscheinlich schon beim ersten Mal verstanden, was ich gesagt habe. So jemand sollte nicht auf Kunden losgelassen werden. Denn immerhin bekommt er sein Gehalt nur, wenn Kunden zufrieden sind, wiederkommen und dort einkaufen.

Dann kommt noch hinzu, dass die Damen-Toilette schmuddelig war und es nicht mal Seife gab. Bisher waren wir sehr oft bei Backwerk in Arnheim, wenn wir einen Tagesausflug gemacht haben. Das wird aber zukünftig nicht...
