Today was a bad day! Not the food. The food was up to par. But the service was below average to say the least. Ordered on one of the screens. They ask you, take away or eating in. So I choose eating in. Choose the meal and try to finish the order. They ask for a table number, but there are no more table numbers. So I ask one of the employees. We're out. You have to choose take away. Where can I pick that option? You can't. You have to start over. OK. Then I wait for 20 minutes for my food. After 15 minutes, they call my number. I go to the counter. I give them my receipt. I get someone else's food. Wait, this is not yours. Oh, I called the wrong number. Then my number disappears from the board and I don't have my food. So no, not a good day. Damn what is this food disgusting. I already regretted eating here before the first bite. From that moment it only became worse and worse. The restaurant looks good. But the food is as terrible as any other McDonald's, if not worse. If you've got a little more time I recommend walking a few meters further to happy Italy. You'll spend about the same, but they serve quality food instead of this sickening distasteful piece of garbage they call food. De McDonald's Centraal staat de naam geeft het al aan bij het station in de oude stationsstraat in Arnhem. Het is een modern ruim pand met groot terras ervoor. Binnen is ook zowat alles nieuw en modern, er is Wifi en ook een Mc Café. Het assortiment is zoals bij alle Macs uitgebreid en ook brengt McDonald's nieuwe gezonde producten, duurzamer en diervriendelijker voedsel, en minder vet, meer salade, de groenteburger enz. In 1954 bezoekt Ray Kroc, verkoper van milkshakemachines, het hamburgerrestaurant van de broers McDonald in Californië. Hij is onder de indruk van de snelle service en hoge kwaliteit. Op 15 april 1955 opent Kroc zijn eerste McDonald’s restaurant in Des Plaines, Illinois. En al uitbreidend ontstaat zo de Mac keten in Amerika. Nederland krijgt zijn eerste McDonald’s restaurant in 1971, in Zaandam. Dit is direct ook het eerste restaurant in Europa. Inmiddels zijn er meer dan 240 McDonald’s restaurants in Nederland. Naast de Hamburger staan ook Appelmoes, de McKroket, Kip Superbout en zelfs Erwtensoep op het menu van de eerste Mac. De aardappelen voor de Franse Frietjes worden nog met de hand geschild.
