I have been eating at Ling's Restaurant since my childhood and their food has always remained the same: high quality and delicious. My absolute favorites are the chicken teriyaki and Chinese roasted chicken 🥰 yum!!! But everything else on their menu is also great! Ask if they have "piska fresco" or "fresh fish", it's always the bomb when they do have!!! 😁
Their portions are quite generous. Depending how big of an eater you are, their mini specials can feed atleast 2 people.
I must say, it has gotten a bit pricier over the years but its understandable and I appreciate that the quality of their food remains consistent.
The service is always a hit or miss for me. Some days the waitresses are nice, some days they don't smile and are generally unapproachable. But, the owners are always so kind. 🩷
On another note, I love the renovations they've made to the restaurant. The outdoor area is such a nice addition as well as the renovated restrooms. So lovely to see that they have made it more wheel chair accessible!
Good job and congratulations on these awesome updates to the place ✨
Overall, I really love Ling's. I have shared many meals with my family there over the years wether dine-in or take out. This restaurant holds a special place in my heart.
May God bless Ling's. To many more amazing...
Read moreI visit Aruba every year for a few weeks in the Fall, and this year I tried Ling's Restaurant in Noord, Aruba.
My mom had heard good things about this Asian restaurant, brought to you by the family that owns the grocery story, Ling & Sons, on the island.
During lunch on a weekday, Ling's was crowded with locals both eating inside and retrieving their takeaway orders. I believe we were the only tourists inside the restaurant.
The menu is Dutch-style chinese food, which is less spicy than us Americans tend to favor. We started with a spring roll, which was deliciously fried and then had a wonton soup.
I enjoyed the soup, with its variety of ingredients, but it was a bit bland.
Ling's does offer lunch specials, which are reasonably priced, and my mom ordered the fried fish and I had the chicken with broccoli. I really liked the sauce on my entree, and my mom liked her fish even if it was a little dry.
Service was very attentive.
If you are looking for Asian takeout or a casual dining experience in Aruba, you can also try Yami Yami, which I reviewed for Google...
Read moreI just ate at Ling's and I can't even BELIEVE that THIS is the place so many people are raving about!!! Horrible service, horrible food, and WAY overpriced. 18 florins for wonton soup is ridiculous. And 35 florins for beef and brocolli?! That wouldn't even be so bad if you could get their attention for another beer or when they bring the wrong rice. Then, even though it says on the website and on the door that they're open until midnight, they started locking the doors and turning off the lights at 10:13 pm and told me I had to go out the back. Mind you, my food had JUST arrived. I asked what time they were closing and told him the website said midnight, to which he replied, "I know, but we want to get out of here." After spending 70 florins ($40) for bland soup, mediocre beef with brocolli, and 2 beers, I don't want to be ignored and pushed out almost 2 hourse before the posted...
