Bar 't Swintje — Restaurant in Bergen

The Bar 't Swintje actually is more than a bar: Fine dishes of undeniably high quality are offered here - for fair prices, which proportionally are remarkably below general local standards. Not only is the bar location of a rough and nevertheless comfortable style, with its dark wood floor and pieces of furniture, with its slightly melancholic posters and pieces of yesterday's US popular culture. The outside facilities are a good place to sit as well, as one can see the manifold lot of Egmond tourists as well as locals passing by in this by-street, on their way to the central place or the sea, or back. Mixed grill, steaks, chicken saté or fish are delicious; the variety and quality of beverage (draught beers, vines or local liquors) underline the feeling of well-being - all that combined with a perfect, sunny and competent service. 7 stars all the way. They make great cocktails the atmosphere is totally set up as a traditional English or USA bar, love it. Good music, great food. The bar tender was super cool and had a great personality. We had a great time!! Ohhhh and they make great Long Island ice...

Wir haben uns selten in einer Gaststätte so unwohl gefühlt. Aus diesem Grund haben wir jeweils auch nur einen Cocktail getrunken der offensichtlich vorgefertigt aus der Flasche stammte und auch entsprechend schmeckte. Ausser einigen Eiswürfeln war in meinem Mojito nichts zu finden...weder Minzeblätter noch Limetten oder Spuren von Rohrzucker...ähnlich war der AperolSpritz. Die Preise sind jedoch analog einer Cocktailbar. Gegessen haben wir nichts da die zu den Nachbartischen servierten Speisen aussahen wie in den benachbarten Imbissbuden, jedoch zu ziemlich hohen Preisen. Für ein schnelles Bier vielleicht in Ordnung, aber...
