Rosaria’s Italiaans restaurant in Egmond aan Zee is a true gem! I had the pleasure of dining here with my girlfriend and her family, and the experience was nothing short of wonderful. The location is lovely, providing a cozy and authentic atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home.

The food was exceptional. The pizza was a highlight—crispy, generously topped with fresh ingredients, and bursting with flavor. The bruschetta was perfect, offering a delightful start to our meal. It was a pleasant surprise to find such an authentic Italian experience in the Netherlands!

While the prices are slightly higher than typical Italian standards, they are more than reasonable considering the quality and location. The service was another standout, especially our Sicilian waiter, who took the time to explain the history of the restaurant, adding a personal touch to our visit. The carbonara pasta was good, even though it was made with bacon instead of the traditional guanciale.

First things first: the food is, to put it simply, excellent. I’m not going to go into detail here. But do yourself a favor and ask for the Zuppa di Funghi, it’s no longer on the menu but it’s still in the System. Honestly this soup is a true treat for your taste buds.

The atmosphere was better before COVID and will get nice again post COVID. However since it’s the only good Italian cuisine in town the place will always be busy.

The service is kind, but they know us for two decades now. So my review isn’t all that neutral. But I think they’re nice and kind either way.

Great food, nice service and did I mention great food?! The Filet Schnitzel was amazing. Yes, you read that right, a beef filet schnitzel, so yummy and tender, it melted in your mouth. My mom had the spinach penne, which were really spinachy (is that a word?) but they tasted very good. We already made reservations for tomorrow again, then I'll try the filet gorgonzola.
