Toast Egmond — Restaurant in Bergen

We have ordered the Good Morning breakfast, with additional scrambled eggs and toast as well as one Panini deluxe with additional homemade avocado dip. The croissant was crispy and moist, the jam was very good. The scrambled eggs were a little overcooked and only lightly salted. The bread was excellent, crispy, fresh and in thick slices. The panini deluxe consists of scrambled eggs with bacon topped of with cheese. The combination is well made and was still, very crispy. The dip consists of cottage cheese and avocado, a refreshing but welcome take on guacamole. All drinks were very, very good.

Service is very kind, a family business that makes you feel like a family member.

This is a cozy place with super friendly staff. The owner serves himself. You can either sit inside or outside on Egmond‘s Main Street, right in front of this restaurant. We only had one day in Egmond aan Zee and chose to start our morning here — the perfect choice! The cappuccino was delicious, the wrap was light and super tasty, and the croissants were amazing — especially the one filled with strawberry jam, it hit just right. And the poffertjes? So good, we came back for more 😄
