We had reservations at 730. Were promptly seated and our drink orders were taken. They have a fairly extensive beer list, and we were told they had everything with the exception of a couple of their IPAs. They bring our drinks to us, and the beer I ordered is not the beer I received. Still was descent, so no worries. Give our app and food order at 745. Aps come out and are quite good. As they come to pick up the plates, I order another different beer they tell me they have - a session IPA. Instead of that beer, I get some Kona passion fruit lilikoi beer I didn't order - not did I want. It's now 8PM. Wanting to return the beer and get what I ordered, we waited - 30 minutes before someone came to check on us. No apologies for ignoring us, or giving us items we did not order. If they were busy or short staffed I'd be more understanding - they were neither.
We finally got our dinners at 9pm. Dinner took 2 hours total. Worst service we had on the island during our two week stay.
The food was good once we finally got it, but it took an hour and a half to get our dinners. Of the 3 beers we ordered that evening - not one of them that was brought to our table was what we had ordered. I get hey run out of things on small islands. But they should simply let us know that and we'd be happy to order something different. Instead they just brought us whatever they felt like bringing us - already opened, without even so much as asking us if the replacements were okay. Only think getting them that second start was the food being good, because everything else was less than 1...

Read moreOne of the very few really good restaurants in Bonaire. This place was recommended to us by a local and our only regret is that we didn't go there earlier during our vacation on the island.
They offer a plethora of beers, among them many that you don't see elsewhere, where only the typical Brasa, Amstel bright or Polar is on the menu.
The dishes served for lunch and dinner are both awesome and tasty and the kitchen was also willing to accommodate the special wishes of our kids (like serving them for example pasta with a spicy tomato and garlic sauce).
The staff is super friendly and attentive, even when it's busy. Just wait and someone will come and check if your orders have all been fulfilled and ask if everything is ok.
This place was so convincing that we came here three times in a row during the weekend before they unfortunately close on Monday and Tuesday.
BTW: The opening times in Google Maps are not correct. You can get lunch here from 11 am to 3 pm. And if the online reservation seems to be booked out for your favorite time and day, try...
