We travelled to Breda specifically for this place, for their High Tea, because of the good reviews. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was nice, but unfortunately we were very disappointed in everything they served. The tea was tasteless, regardless of what flavours we picked and regardless of how long we let the tea leaves (which looked more like powder than anything) simmer. The food was equally disappointing. The little sandwiches were not presented well and lacked any creativity or imagination, the flavours were very bland and basic. The desserts were also a big disappointment, everything just tasted like it was bought at a cheap Dutch supermarket and then placed on a plate. All the food lacked creativity, flavour, and put us off trying High Tea again in the near future, unfortunately. Besides that they serve lunch; homemade cake's, salades, perfect capuchino, fresh fruit drinks. Big bonus is; kindness of the girls working here serving you with professionalism and a smile.
