Happy China — Restaurant in Diemen

I highly recommend steering clear of this restaurant. We truly had a horrible experience. The man who runs this restaurant is rude. He called us dumb Americans after his card machine wouldn’t run our card. We use this card for every purchase when we are traveling and have never had an issue with it. It is the only card we use to avoid transaction fees. We told him we just used the card an hour ago and he didn’t believe us. He interrogated us about where we used the card. He yelled at us when we explained that there is no issue with our card and he did not care at all. He did not have another card machine so he was forcing us to go to an ATM which charges really high fees and interest rates. He was completely out of line and treated us...

A real Chinese restaurant with the option of takeaway. By real I mean the Chinese decor which is extravagantly displayed as soon as you walk through the door. Service is always top notch, and they still use shoe shine to polish their shoes before every service. Just that little bit extra that let's you know how serious they take their profession. The food is mehh. Maybe it's because I always take the food that is designed for the Dutch people to eat. And not the traditional Seshuan style spicy dishes that China...

Had a really bad dinner at Happy China. We sat down with our group at 5:30 PM, and our mains didn’t come out until 7 PM. We are not ones to complain, but we finally asked our waiter why it was taking so long.
