Brasa de Lujo — Restaurant in Eindhoven

We had such a lovely evening at Brasa de Lujo. The dishes from meat to fish to vegetables were full of flavor and beautifully prepared. You can really taste the care and creativity. The Chef’s Choice menu was a great surprise and absolutely worth it.

It was surprisingly good. Coming from Spain I have problems trying to find restaurants with good food, flavourful and that the chefs know what they are doing. Not the case here. The food was really well executed, the flavour was excellent and they knew what they were doing with the ingredients. I'm gladly surprised and I will recommend and go back. Also, they were all pretty young, so it makes me curious where this restaurant will go, good to keep...

We hebben hier a la carte gegeten.

Zodra je binnenkomt wordt je meteen enthousiast begroet. Wij zaten met tweeën met ruim voldoende plaats aan tafel. De tafels waren voor aanvang mooi opgemaakt, en het zag er schoon en netjes uit.

De bediening was sociaal en vriendelijk. De verschillende keuzes uit het menu werden goed uitgelegd.

De gerechten smaakten erg lekker. Het waren geen standaard gerechten die je in de meeste restaurants vind. Bijvoorbeeld de carpaccio van picanha gebruikte vers vlees, en gebruikte geen standaard garnering, wat het tot een frisse nieuwe ervaring maakte. Als hoofdgerecht heb ik rode mul gehad. Deze werd als volledige vis klaar gemaakt waarna je zelf op je bord de filet er af kan halen om te eten. Dit was leuk om te doen en zorgde voor een extra ervaring aan het gerecht. Daarnaast smaakte het zo lekker dat ik er nog wel een had gewild. De nagerechten waren uniek en lekker.

Als kers op de taart hebben we, na persoonlijke uitleg van de chef, een gelimiteerde speciaalbier besteld, welke erg lekker smaakte.

Het personeel, in combinatie met het eten, maakten een erg fijne sfeer.
